BATTERY STORAGE

Keep more of your energy. Buy less from the grid.

We are a Duracell Energy Platinum Partner and Tesla Certified Installer, with Fox ESS and Growatt options too. Systems are designed around your home, your tariff and when you actually use electricity.

BATTERY OPTIONS

Choose the right battery for your home

We confirm the final system after reviewing your property, existing solar equipment, phase type and electricity use.

Duracell Energy

Dura5 modular storage with clean hardware, flexible expansion and straightforward app monitoring.

Fox ESS

EP5, EP6, EP11 and EP12 options, from compact storage to larger capacities for heat pumps and EVs.

Tesla Powerwall

An integrated premium battery and inverter platform, installed by a Tesla Certified Installer.

Growatt

Larger modular ecosystems where capacity or brand preference shapes the project.

WHY ADD A BATTERY

Use your solar after the sun goes down

A battery stores the spare electricity your panels make in the day, so you can use it in the evening instead of buying from the grid. With a smart tariff, it can also charge when prices are lowest.

WORKMANSHIP

The battery is only as good as the system around it

A clean installation needs more than a product fixed to a wall. Positioning, cable routes, inverter setup, commissioning and handover all affect how easy the system is to own.

QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

In many cases, yes. A battery can often be added to an existing solar system with a suitable inverter. We first check compatibility, space, your energy use and how the original system was set up.

Most homes suit 5 to 13 kWh of usable storage. We size it around your evening electricity use, your solar generation and whether you plan to add an EV or heat pump.

Only some systems provide backup power, and it usually needs extra equipment. We explain what your chosen system can and cannot do before you commit.

Qualifying solar panel and battery installations in homes are currently zero-rated for VAT. They are scheduled to move to the reduced 5% rate on 1 April 2027. A booking alone does not fix the VAT rate, so ask us to confirm the VAT treatment in writing alongside your installation date.
